SAVEMONEY Shows Out for KAMI’s “Payload” Video

It’s KAMI’s birthday today, and the Chicago rapper appears to be celebrating like no other in his new music video for “Payload.”

The star-studded visual accompaniment to the smash single off his “Superstar” EP boasts too many cameos to count, with pretty much the entire SAVEMONEY clique in attendance. From Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa turning up together to Joey Purp returning for a Leather Corduroys reunion, this video embodies the “SAVEMONEY Still Alive”┬ámantra. Director Jake Osmun, who’s been shooting with Vic on Jay Z’s 4:44 tour, captures the high-energy of “Payload” by compiling footage of live performances, partying and straight stunting into a beautifully distorted mess.

KAMI had a monster year in 2017, releasing both his “Just Like The Movies” and “Superstar” projects. Not to mention his music video output has been on another level, with multiple cinematically-styled pieces released last year and now “Payload.” With all that said, KAMI certainly is a name you should be keeping up with out of Chicago. Stay tuned.
